Established in 1972 as the Avenue Neighborhood Health Center and incorporated in 1974, Mattapan Community Health Center (MCHC) has been a trusted source of healthcare for more than five decades. Today, it is the only community health center serving both Mattapan and Hyde Park, providing accessible, high-quality care to individuals and families throughout Mattapan, Dorchester, Roxbury, Hyde Park, and surrounding neighborhoods.

MCHC is committed to improving the health and quality of life of the communities it serves by delivering exceptional primary care, preventive health services, dental care, behavioral health, and social services.
