Established in 1976, Taurus Records has been a cultural landmark for Caribbean music lovers in Boston. Located on Blue Hill Avenue in Mattapan, the store specializes in reggae, dancehall, calypso, soca, and other Caribbean sounds while providing music, products, and entertainment that connect generations.

For nearly five decades, Taurus Records has helped preserve and grow Boston's Caribbean music community. Owner Leroy Webb built the store from his passion for reggae and his desire to create a place where people could discover music from home.

Taurus Records continues to serve as more than a music store — it remains a gathering place for artists, DJs, collectors, families, and anyone looking to experience the history and culture behind Caribbean music.
